We are in the Dominican Republic's second largest city, Santiago, with a population of about one million. God is doing great things here; the local churches have plenty of young people who are being called to the nations, but don't know what to do with their call. Isn't a missionary someone who COMES to us? Though the Dominican church doesn't have a long history of sending out missionaries, it's beginning to happen. We are here to equip, moblilize and train a new wave of Latin missionaries going to the Unreached of the World. To know God and make Him known is our Passion.
Our mission is to catalyze a Dominican missions movement through increased missions awareness in the local church, the cultivation of a committed community of missions-minded pastors and leaders, and the discipling of a generation of future nation-changers.
Our current strategic priority is to develop youth for life, for leadership, and for missions through the SUYO and NIKO programs. Have you heard of the 4/14 Window?
Our priorities for the future are the development of NIKOland for outdoor adventure camps and day use, taking Dominicans on international missions trips with a special focus on the 10/40 Window, and the development of multiple University of the Nations courses. We continue to speak in Dominican churches about world missions, and to host short-term missions trips from other nations.
Please pray with us for God's purposes to be accomplished here.
Thank you!
